Overview

Promojagers is a community commerce and deal marketplace platform built for web and hybrid mobile users, serving over 300,000 monthly visitors. The project involved modernizing the platform from its original Laravel and Vue architecture to a Nuxt 3 SSR-enabled setup to improve performance, scalability, and SEO. Rigrex delivered platform migration, performance optimization, DevOps setup, and UI/UX redesign to help Promojagers support high traffic, provide a smoother user experience, and maintain long-term platform growth.

Research

The project began with a review of the platform’s architecture, performance, SEO, mobile experience, infrastructure, and user behavior to identify the main barriers to growth.

Research Area Key Finding
Architecture Existing Laravel + Vue SPA limited SEO and scalability.
Performance Growing traffic was causing speed and stability issues.
SEO Lack of SSR reduced organic visibility.
Mobile Experience Users faced login and session handling issues on mobile.
Infrastructure No CI/CD, staging environment, or scalable server setup was in place.
UI/UX Interface and category structure were not aligned with user behavior.
Engagement The platform needed better re-engagement through notifications.
Migration Risk A phased migration was required to avoid downtime.

These findings shaped the execution roadmap, prioritizing stability, performance, SEO, mobile usability, and scalable infrastructure.

Challenges → Solutions

Challenge Solution
Growing traffic was causing performance strain. Optimized the platform architecture and server setup to handle higher traffic smoothly.
Weak organic reach due to limited SEO capabilities. Migrated to Nuxt 3 with SSR and added structured data to improve search visibility.
No mobile-first strategy or app presence. Built a hybrid mobile app and improved the mobile browsing experience.
Mobile login and session issues. Fixed cookie and session handling to ensure stable mobile authentication.
Outdated UI/UX not aligned with user behavior. Redesigned the interface based on user behavior data and improved deal visibility.
No smooth deployment process. Implemented CI/CD pipelines for faster and safer updates.
No separate staging and production environments. Created structured staging and production environments for safer testing and deployment.
SPA architecture was limiting SEO performance. Migrated from Laravel + Vue SPA to Nuxt 3 with Server-Side Rendering.
Performance bottlenecks under high traffic. Improved load speed by 40% through performance optimization and infrastructure upgrades.
Risk of downtime during migration. Completed the migration in structured phases with zero downtime.
High maintenance and development overhead. Modernized the stack to reduce long-term development and maintenance costs.
Users had difficulty finding relevant deals. Implemented semantic search for smarter and faster deal discovery.
Low user re-engagement. Integrated email notifications to bring users back to the platform.
Categories were not optimized for conversions. Reordered categories based on purchase percentage to improve conversions.

Conclusion

Promojagers was transformed from a growing community platform into a scalable, production-ready digital ecosystem. Through performance optimization, Nuxt 3 migration, SSR-based SEO improvements, DevOps implementation, and conversion-focused UI/UX enhancements, the platform became faster, more stable, easier to maintain, and better positioned for long-term growth. The project highlights Rigrex’s ability to manage complex migrations, improve platform performance, strengthen infrastructure, and deliver user-focused digital experiences without disrupting live operations.
